Shit Motorway Drivers.
Why has nobody got a clue how to drive on the motorway?
Ie they driving at same speed as fuckers in the lane next to them, or they dont move over to the furthest left lane where there are no traffic, esp when there are cars behind them.
Honest to god I do about 70-80 miles a day on the motorway and i undertake around 15 cars a day
And then they flash you n stuff like you done summat bad to them
Not for fun either, if I undertook every twat sitting in the middle lane with no cars either side itd prob be 30 cars a day.
15 is just when there are cars sitting in the outside lane, or people on the outside and middle, and nobody in the inside lane.
Sometimes you end up going past 5 cars at once, and i dont even mean in traffic, we talking full motorway speeds here.
I reckon if it was a quick car itd be about twice as many too, but in a 1.8 mondeo you cant really do any close calls
If the lane to your left is empty, even for a few seconds, fucking use it

people seem to think they can sit anywhere, it annots the fuck out of me aswell and i bet them drivers think your the one who hasn't got a clue!people need to understand that you always stay to the left and the other lanes are for overtaking
the worst pet hate of mine, middle lane drivers.
oh, the ones that don't move over when you are comming onto a motorway ,nearly hit them

move fookin over or let me in!!
it not just motorways it anywhere i was on a roundabout today there was three lanes coming to the roundabout and im in the middle one as i was going straight over when this prick who was in the left lane to turn left decided that he go round with me then turn right right in front of me as i was going straight make me so mad

My pet hate is people who cant stick to a constant speed, I cruise at about 75 to and from work and overtake the same car about 5 times
Alot of the time people think if they pull into the middle/left hand lane then they wont get back out for overtaking, these are usually poor drivers with no sense of awarenss and poor judgment of speed and distance.
Is there a reason motorway driving isnt part of learning to drive? how can proving you can potter around town at 30mph qualify you to drive at 70+ in busy 3 lane traffic?

Undertaking should be legal, like it is in the states

Highway code
233: When you join the motorway you will normally approach it from a road on the left (a slip road) or from an adjoining motorway. You should
* give priority to traffic already on the motorway
* check the traffic on the motorway and adjust your speed to fit safely into the traffic flow in the left-hand lane
* not cross solid white lines that separate lanes
* stay on the slip road if it continues as an extra lane on the motorway
* remain in the left-hand lane long enough to adjust to the speed of traffic before considering overtaking.

And probably THE most dangerous thing is where some tossers (prob same ones who dont move over on the M-way) STOP at the end of the slip road waiting for a gap

Or slow down to like, 30mph

Wankers, the lot of them.
I need some strobing headlights, pig style...
Try having a pet hate for middle lane drivers on the freeway here and it not being law that they pull over. Bonus is however it is legal to undertake, just scares the crap out of me still

What if the person in lane cant move over to let you on because someone is passing them in lane 2????
I will agree with this being stupid though

I hate MPV's that move into the outside lane at 60 then refuse to budge for miles while people que behind and end up undertaking in the end.
I also hate school run mums and thier "I feel big and safe" 4x4's who speed like maniacs in the 30 zone on the way to pick up the kids, then just stop dead in the middle of the road to let the kids in. The fucking bitch then gave me a nasty look when I beeped the horn then she drove off at 25 in the 30 and a pathetic 40 in the 60.

The fucker moved over so I came past then in one swift move went from the outside lane of a three lane motorway to the slip road then through a red light at the bottom of the slip road
Next thing I know the Omega came past with "POLICE STOP" in the back window and I got to watch it all on video
He only did me for not wearing my seatbelt though

My pet hate are the people who dont know which lane to choose when getting onto a roundabout

)Providing you dont swerve in and out of the lanes to do it. If your lane is travelling faster then undertaking is perfectly legal, there is no law that says you cant. What you normally get pulled for is 'dangerous driving' because of swerving out from behind or swerving back in front to do the manouvre. If you dont have to change lanes to do it you're ok
i just live with it,if its quicker in the inside lane thats what ill use.dont get annoyed just undertake every daft fucker then nearly take off their front end as u pull back out, works most of the time!
my pet hate is roundabouts and people not knowing what lane to be in,my dad got stopped by the cops once for shouting at them when they blatently had it wrong, its funny when the young copper tries it on then the older one has to intervene and call it off cos the person knows their rights!

i got overtaken on the inside the other day, scared the shit out of me, i saw this car approching behind quite fast, put my indicator out and went to pull into the inside lane [dueller] as he came past at about 70, twas only a 50 limit aswell. nearly shit myself as i was literally just about to turn in and looked accross to check my n/s mirror as this xsara vtr came wooshing past.
living in cornwall - land with no m-ways - i've only drievn on them twice and found the whole experience quite frightening at first tbh, tis a ace idea though as you can overtake everyone at 80+ with out being held up by lorries overtaking other lorries and such like.
