Default Deflex Poly Gearbox Mounts... Any Good???

Is anyone else using the Deflex Poly gearbox mounts on thier S2. I have them on mine and one of the bolts has snapped and gone missing. Im not running more than 150 bhp and these are supposed to be fail safe for up to 300bhp. Are they crap or have i just got a duff set???

I've got Deflex bushes on my car, they seem fine. I have gearbox mounts to use also, but if they can't even handle 150bhp then, no chance! Have you got the newer one's that are good for 300? I know they had to re design them as the first lot were crap.

i had a set on my car, they were the first set that were made and sent to me to test for deflex free of charge.

they were ok for a while but i found the insert bushes kept splitting.

after a while and sevral sets of new inserts one of the bolts sheared so i scrapped them.

i'd get vibratechnics if your planning over 200bhp.

if not, just get a set from ford for a drev

I dont know if they are the new ones but i have only had them for about 3 months. They worked well at first. Very disapointed with them. Was gonna get Vibra technics mounts but they were alot more expensive.

One of my bolts also snapped. These bolts were 8.8 quality. They have swapped the bolts for 10.9 now, so they sent me a complete set with washers, inserts and bolts.

One deflex (very rigid) + one standard (however old) = a little flex, more comfort and NO Sheared anything.

No problems since the stronger bolts were fitted, but not much driving either.

This is probably why they have never answered to any of my e-mails and I've never received everything that was ordered.
