Default Boost pipes n dump valve

I've just change my boost pipes on my series1, before the dump valve was t-peiced into the boost pipe that links the charge carrier to the intercooler usual place, now i've got another charge carrier that has a dumpvalve union welded on to it so now the dump valve is on the other side. dose any one know of any pros and con's for having the dumpvalve on this side? thanks

Pro's none
cons none
Best option - Bin the DV and blank off the resulting hole
