why bother
i went to pick a friend up from watford last night with my other half.i was plodding along down th a1 at hatfield when a scooby pulled beside me reving his car up to make sure i knew he was there.he kept dropping back and floorin past me then signalin me to race.its obvious the car was packing some power, but not only did i have 2 passengers one of them is 20stone.im in my 170bhp xr4x4.probably 100bhp under power at least.im not stupid i know even with an empty car id be thrashed so i waved him on.it took him a fair while to get the message.why bother?some people are dumb arses and need to get a life.
your not wrong.iv got a twin turbo kit going on.would make things bit more interesting.i was out with my brother in his saph once and a scooby p1 tried it on.he got smoked big time.when im old enough to get more power i shal seek my revenge.
the one thing i love about my s2 is that most standard scoobs are sure thay will beat the pants off me
ive beaten 2 up the same massive hill, must be on torque i think cus gear for gear thers nothing in it then as the hill comes the scoobs start to struggle, my -34 and 17 psi comes into play

nothing to be sorry about ,there are some nobers out there and some drive scoobys.
i just get a bit "bothered" when people slag scoobys off all the time.
Having owned an RS for 5 years, then seeing it from this side now with the scoob there's a lot of nobers owning Fords as well.

my car isnt exactly quick to the standards that have been reached now days.but i did smoke a series1 on the way back from a show last year.was a friend of mine.shocked him a bit.me to to be honest.so these under powered cars are a waste of fuel really.fun sometimes to tease them a bit.

A while back I was in my S1 heading down the Uxbridge Road and had a black mk3 XR3i pull up next to me as I was trundling along nice and legal like. He's got his mate in the passenger seat and some old trout in the back, looking at me, trying to egg me on. I ignored him for a bit. We got to a set of lights and he's then goading me, so I just put the window down, told him to stop being a spud and fuck off. He goes flying off at the lights, I pulled away and thought nothing else of it. Gets to the bottom of Hillingdon Hill and saw him embedded in a lamppost !!! Oh, how I laughed. Oh, and also stopped and when the old bill arrived said I'd go at witness to the way the prick was driving...........
LOL
A friend of mine blew up the engine in his 8v Cavalier SRi so we put a 2.0 16v in and converted it to throttle bodies.
He was driving around Nottingham stopped at some lights, a Cav GSi pulls up along side him with the usual crowd of McDonalds eating chavs. Driver shouts across to my mate "Follow me and I'll show you how a real Cav goes mate."
Needless to say my mate did follow him a few mins later there was one sorry looking Cav Gsi owner

I had a dude in Golf VR6 giving it large through town. He didnt bait me down to his level although I did give it a little spurt to get away from the prick.
Pull up at the lights and its a left hand drive VR6 so he is right next to me. He winds window down and asks how much power im pushing...needless to say I laughed in his face and whilst pointing at his car said "Alot more than you"
The look on his face was priceless
Lights changed and he sped off while I calmy drove off slowly

because virtually every scooby owner in the country thinks they own the fastest car on the planet id guess
never been beaten off one yet
If it was me I would have waved him by also. Hopefully he will have read the sticker on the rear to put a little doubt in his mind
.
Unfortunately Cossies are the worst at this type of game, i wave them bye as well.

lol, some funny stories there!
i'm almost always up for a race, have yet to loose one yet though, however there isn't much in the way of quick cars round here to play with, sadly.
