Default E Bay question

If you bid on a car and it meets their reserve and you win the auction and then the seller says he has a friend who is going to pay a bit more money that the auction, would you tell him ....

a. to read ebay rules and go through with the deal

or

b. to piss off and go and waste someone elses time as out of priniciple you no longer want it

Just wondered as I'm tempted to tell him to feck off but dont want to have any neg feedback through him changing his mind ....

What would you do?

If you are the winning bidder he is under contract to sell it to you, just the same as you are bound to pay for it as winning bidder. If he refuses to sell it to you, report him to Ebay, they will kick him off for that.

Id tell him to get foooked

Then wait for him to ring back because his "mate" has let him down, then offer him less money.

And if the above fails report him to Ebay!

Tell him he has until such and such a time to sort out the sale or he will be reported to ebay and you will take legal action for wasting your time and misleading you. He'll probably shit himself

You'll only get stitched up if you let yourself be
Be vigilant and aware, review feedback, read descriptions to every last letter and you'll be fine

Right, just a quick update, as I've just recently got in.

I replied to his email in a nice way stating the usual load of bollocks ..but worded very nicely. I had a reply today saying sorry for the aggreviation and I will let you know whats happening later on ...I've emailed E-bay whats going in, just in case he tries to turn the clocks and make me look like a non payer, so will see what happens.

I've got a job on Wednesday near where he lives ...lets hope ho doesnt get mouthy on the net with me

I should of just told him to feck off, but its cheap for what it is, so if it does happen, then its worth i. The guy has 48 feeback so should know better .....

I like Rossco's idea as well

If you are the winner, then legally you are entitled to the vehicle.

Tell the guy to stop being a Turkey and you will be round with the cash......!!!!!!!!!!!
