Default cosworth brakes on s1

i was wondering if anyone can help me i am thinking about upgrading my s1 but before going to mad i wanna sort the brakes
has anyone got any suggestions.i still wanna keep my 7 spokes though
was thinking about going the cossie route

go cossie route mate i did on my s1, 4x4 cosworth calipers and 2wd discs plus had goodridge braded flexie hoses made a big difference did just the job,piece of piss to fit only need a 1mm washer between the hub and the caliper rest is a straight fit go for it

the cossie route is a good cheap way to up grade , u can still us the seven spokes too ,are u just thonkg pf the fronts or the rears too ?

What about mk3 mondeo brakes?? 300mm discs as std, Dont know if they will fit an escort though
