Cam Pulley Colours and finishes

Just managed to get the engine back in the car now, must crack on with the full rebuild as summer will be here soon
Just about to put the cam pulleys back on, but they are all dull and tarnished. I don't really want to replace them was just thinking of having some form of coating done
Anyone got any recommendations ??
Don't think they can be anodised as they are not aluminium. Perhaps electro plated though?
