Right someone has proberly asked it before but is there such thing as a thick gasket as my head is just past the limit of thickness (138mm i beleive my head is) and i was wondering if a 'thick' gasket to help me out,

doesnt cometic do a thicker multi layer head gasket? dont know if it would help in your case though as im not that technically minded.

You can get "head saver" gaskets for some cars which are thicker than std or as said if its a Cossie Cometic do a thicker gasket than std

 

cheers peeps for the info, and yes its a 2wd saff and i really dont want to have to buy another head as ive just put most of my money into getting the bottom end reground and new bearings etc
