Default flying a rc plane

well today is the day lol, yesterday i was bored so got the add mag to have a look for a toy and found a bloke selling his rc plane, so a brief
chat and i'm off to buy it so i get to the bloke's house to see what he has to offer and bingo he's got about twenty plane's and all sorts fo rc stuff so in the end i leave with three plane's and enough stuff to fly including spare props as he recons when it leaves my hand it will be dead
after the first flight. so will it make it lol i don't give a shite lol as i have two more to convert to scrap as well so wish me luck lol, i will put some pics up later of the carnage. thing is they are big lol so they
should crash big oh well only time will tell

Have you joined a club/bmfa and got insured yet..?

Have you got a safe area to fly..?

Have you had any advice..?

Don`t forget mate you MUST be insured and supervised if you haven`t flown before, you are just as liable as if you were driving an uninsured car if you hit anything or anyone and if you take out a member of the public while uninsured or untrained you could go to jail...

R.C models are NOT toys...

This is not a dig at you by the way just some good advice from some one who has flown for many years and seen all the pitfalls.......A guy who is now a member of our club had an uninsured accident 8 years ago that ended up costing him £27K........Nearly bankrupt him...

My advice is to join a club and join the bmfa and get some insurance....It`s not expensive and could save you thousands in the long run....

well as predicted i crashed lots and wreaked one plane
nightdavva i have around sixty acres to crash in mate so not much danger of hurting anyone or anything but the plane, i do intend to join my local club and get fully insured but just thought i would give it a go out of the way for a laugh. i used the oldest plane i had so nothing to lose lol. armed with my how to fly guide four page's of a4 off the net pmsl were off
well about twenty feet before the first crash and down one prop hmm,
so new prop and a bit of fine tunning and were off again this time it made it all of fiffty feet crash again and another prop this is becoming predictable so move higher up the hill for a better launch and a bigger crash lol killing the old beast . so i now know i can't fly lol
so give the bloke a call i got them off and he say's go for the biggest plane
it's the easyest to fly. so now armed with a president 180 i decide caution
is best and go for a glide and hey presto it fookin flys lol could not belive it
i did crash land it a bit but it has survived so i will power up the moto next time and try again i will put some pics up monday if i have anything left
