back when everyone used to do the circuit through the town center, near the bus depot, now a no cars zone, then off up to macD's every weekend, mmm had a 1.1L mk2 fiesta, remember my insurance being twice the price compared to you suffolk people with simular cars.

Still back in 98 @ 18 it was one of the cars everyone wanted liked, and tws venoms were the alloys to own

I spent shit loads of money having it all sprayed etc etc...

Had everything illusion except from the wide archs (Which they didn't do for a 5 door) Had the spolier/front+rear bumpers/bonnet everything...

The venoms were polished aswell (You can't really see in the picture clearly) They cost me big big money..Think they were around 950quid with tyres

It wasn't actually a turbo untill late 1999 when i found a XR" turbo techics fiesta and brought it for 50quid. Turbo was fooekd so got a t3 off an escort (Was a tiny t2 thing on there orginally) Only ran about 5/6lb but was 130bhp which was quick enough for me in my teenage years

exactly back then no one had done what i had, mixing the illusion front bumper with the ratllesnake kit.

Evereyone liked it and always had loads of people looking at it at chelsea cruise, commenting on how good it looks lol.

As you say no adays people would take the piss and i couldnt blame them pmsl

Wrote it off in the end, decided i didnt like the new audi a3 infront of me

I had an engine bay fire and broke it for bits....

Made a few quid back on part...All i couldn't sell was the shell so i scrapped it..

Not after all my mates absolutely ruined it with a bat before the taking it to the scrapyard

Yup the RSi was the gen article mate, was still on twin coils too Bought it on my 18th Birthday for 1k then paid 1k to insure it

Will always have a soft spot for them... I did try to buy it back and left a note on it one night when I saw it parked up LOL

Did a little welding and put a new wing on then sold it the following year for 1600 quid... Which went towards insurance for the Estate

I took the estate to Ford fair in 1999 at some country hall place, it was on Fast Fords stand, I remember the queue to get in went down some twisty country lanes and there were a couple of cars rolled into a ditch, as they had come round a bend at high speed only to find a load of stationary cars in front of them .... Worst thing was I nearly hit a White Ecos up the arse by doing exactly the same thing
