As above is it possible?
When I was younger and not running my business and working on cars I used to work out a fair bit and had a nice body was pretty defined had a 6pac etc this was when I was 70ish Kilos. I am now 100KG and although i dont look over weight I feel worse off and i do have a gut on me and i desperatly want to loose it and get back to my old self for my wedding/ honeymoon as my missus has a pretty good body, 6 pac outline etc
Im handy with a set of weight and at boxing, not realy one for the treadmill as I get bored![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Anyone suggest foods to eat, worksouts etc
cheers
Aaron

Get back boxing! I box and I lost nearly 5kg in 2 months and I was only 75.5KG's to start with. Not an ounce of fat on me right now at 70.8KG and I'm just as strong on the weights as I was when I was 75KG.

Il check it out Snoopy..
Muz Im really considering it.. its just finding the motivation to get back into it..
Just before xmas I stoped all fatty foods, fizzy pop and most importantly salt for about 3 weeks and I lost 10kg pretty easy.. I can eat chicken and lamb all day everyday so thinking to just buy a whole chicken and eat that through out the day with veg and just drink water..
I also need to take protein as im 6ft 2 and my arms arnt exactly big as I have long muscles so have to work that extra bit harder to get a good look in muscles

I'd say cut out sugar, salt and fats, but not 'good fats' as you need these and if you can, the booze.
Drink only water and green tea during the day and no caffeine after mid day.
I'd also eat chicken, fish and for a change beef rather than lamb. Lambs quite fatty.
Nothing wrong with protein supplements if you're doing weights but remember they are a meal supplement, not a replacement.
Things don't have to be complicated, just watch what you eat and stick to your exercise. It's easy to get really into it, loose a load of weight then slowly loose interest.
Also, you can still have takeaways etc, just everything in moderation. Over Christmas and the New Year I drank what I wanted, lots of Guinness and Scotch, ate what I wanted, 3 Christmas dinners, 5 or 6 takeaways, but I was still training. I LOST 1 pound over Christmas, whereas my sparing partner (who was dead on the same weight as me at our last weight in on the 21st December) who stopped training for 2 weeks put on 4KGs! I can't wait to smash him to peices tonight the slow, fat sod

I did 20 pounds in 6 weeks, which is about 9KG
So 20 weeks ish at that same rate would do it, so well under 6 months.
That was by 7 miles of walking (with a bit of running when I felt like it) a day and halving my food intake 5 days a week and dropping it by about 1/3rd at weekends.
Was pretty easy TBH when done like that.
I was 100kg when I started, and previously my fighting weight in my teens and early twenties was 70kg, so basically the exact same situation as you.
In the 18 months since I lost the weight, I returned my exercise routeine to as it was previously (ie naff all) and I returned my diet to as before (utter shite) and now im back at 100kg
And that was always going to be the case of course, its no good losing it if you dont do a lifestyle change where you keep it off.
I just did it as an exercise to see if I could TBH and had no intentions of keeping it off as I like my lifestyle and diet the way it is.

If you're 100KG's in weight and you're not used to running I would strongly advice you not to do any running until you're a reasonable fitness. I would, as Chip said, start with long walks, ideally on a treadmill at a good incline, cardio weights and some skipping.

It is best not to lose too fast. You should try to lose weight gradually. If you lose more than a pound a week you can lose muscle instead of fat and not weight loss sustainable. It is recommended that you lose an average of 0.5 to 1 kg per week. To lose weight, your energy should be below your energy. In short, you need to eat less and move more.

You could try swimming but if you dont like treadmill might just be as boring. i went from nearly 15 stone to 12'8 in about two and a half months swimming. at my start weight doing 50 lenght of a 50m pool was burning 1000 calories a swim was going between 3-5 times a week though.
