Default Help needed opinions please

Hello people,

Right this is my story and I would like opinions and any help...........

I am currently 25 years old and weigh about 15 stone, I am not fat, but I am a big guy all over (kinda like a new born with puppy fat). I am a very active person however I have decided that I need to trim up.

My schedule at the moment

Sunday - Football 90 mins
Monday - Football 60 mins
Tuesday - Gym 60mins
Wedsnesday - Gym 60 mins
Thursday - Football 60 mins
Friday - Rest
Saturday - Rest

I recently joined a gym round the corner from work and have been hitting this quite hard, plus they have a swimming pool which is nice. Anyway I find myself doing 20 mins intense running then just float from machine to free weights without having a game plane.

Right now here are my questions......

1) I want to cut in and become leaner what type of workouts should I be doing free weights and reps

2) is there any good web-sites I can use to understands exercises that you can do with free weights.

3) Should I be doing light weights and more reps or less reps an more weights.

4) Recovery, I see a lot of people drinking met RX after the gym and I was wondering what should a newbie take.

thanking you in advance for your help.

Rgds

You defo do enough. I'll second the above and say your diet is what lets you down.
