loss of strength in fingers! its bad!
cant do my poxy flies up after a piss!
Im doing barbell tricep curls (lowering the barbell behind my head whilst sitting and raising again)
now this i think is killing the plams of my hands.. and after my reps.. leaves them feeling weak and exhausted. Even Jim Galbally would beat me in a thumb war!
The barbell is a straight one.. not a curved grip one..
i think the weight of the barbell is resting in between my thumb and 1st finger
would this be why?
I am using gloves and my grip is overhand
can anyone help me overcome this as this specific exercise really burns and develops my triceps and id like not to stop using it

cant beat good old fashioned pushups!
or you could try some sholder dips if you have access to the bars, their quite good as you can tie weights round your waist to add resistance.

Or Dave, if you gym has heavy dumbbells, pick up just one and hold it over your head in both hands, this will also take some of the stress off the wrists.
Alternatively try close grip bench press, this is also a good tricep builder but can also put stress on the wrists. You can do them with an EZ bar but I use a straight one.
