Default Fiesta ST + Baby?

Hi guys, spent about 2 weeks sorting out buying a Fiesta ST and about a day before going to get it, I get told I'm going to be a daddy.
I wasn't going to waste the guys' time and as I'd have about 9 months worth of ST ownership I thought I might as well.
Do any of you guys have kids and an ST as well? I'm just wondering how good it is for ferrying stuff about with a baby seat and a pram in the back and all the other parent crap I'm about to be sucked into, or whether I'm better off looking for something bigger.
I know different people have different ways of doing stuff etc, just looking for general guidance from those in the know.

It isn't the baby the takes up the room, it's the push chair, the changing bag, the massive car seat, the toys etc etc etc.

When my daughter was a baby we struggled with my focus, we could get everything in alright but then there's no room for shopping etc.

After 6-9 months or so when your baby is a bit older he will be able to sit upright in a normal push chair so we've now got a small fold up one for the car, and you aren't ferrying around loads of nappies and bottles / changine gear etc, we now just use a small ruck sack with a couple of nappies and some snacks.

So for the first few months you might find you will struggle, but as baby gets older you will be carrying around less and less.

Depends on the type of pram I have been driving round in a mk6 fiesta tdci my daughter is six months old now, I had no problems I had a travel system so the car seat clipped into the pram frame, the changing bag I had was a slim bag which I could keep every item plus there was a nappie mat neatly tucked away.
So all depends on your equipment but I didn't have any issues. ......
But then I had a m8 who used to struggle with a bmw 320 estate. .

Cheers, hopefully I'll be ok then I've got a car seat that clips in to the pram frame too, so I'll try and manage as best I can. Even though I'm still figuring out what stuff I'm going to need for the baby.......

I had to read that twice, I pictured a baby being carried in a rucksack

Ive got a zs tdci (same as st but with a derv engine) & we dont have a massive issue. Our little'un is 2 now and we still go out regularly.

Heres ours with a pram in the back & a sub (if you can see it :P) the pram can easily stand on its edge for a lot more room.

That sounds good! I might do that when the missus starts flying the red flag again!
Cheers for the replies, I'm glad I won't have to get rid now! (Of the car, not the baby )
