Default Bonnet Vent Fixing

Hi to you all. I am fitting a brand new Fiesta RS Turbo bonnet to my Fiesta RS 1800. I bought the bonnet minus the vents so brought new ones from Ford but they came minus the fixings. I have also got the stainless bonnet vent covers to go on as well and was wondering how they fit and what fixings i need to do the job. Cheers in advance.

You need 6 screws and six washers.

Put vent in position on bonnet, put washer on screw, put screw through screw hole in vent cover then offer up to corresponding hole in bonnet and screw through to the metal thread in the vent.

Repeat five more times!!!

Didnt think to ask Ford for the screws?

Couple of quid, no hassle fiddling around trying to find ones that fit correctly.

Default Bonnet Vent Fixing

Thanks Snoozie i am sorted now mate its just that the bonnet is going on a RS 1800 and i was not sure how the vents were fixed. I have found some stainless steel screws and the bonnet is being sprayed. I thought fitting this would be a bit different and would let a bit of air in and out of the engine bay. Many thanks again mate. . . .

Glad your all sorted mate, thought my reply sounded too sarcastic. As you found its a simple job.

The car will look much better with the vented bonnet, and still all original ford! You get some better air flow into the bargain. Cool.
