Guys well ive knackerd my engine i think ill prop put another topic up for that but anyway you was mentioning 18psi as long as the fuelling and ACT etc are setup.
Obviously the standard intercooler wont able to hack 18psi but will a PACE, if not what psi is the standard and pace i/c limited at???
And what happens if your running high boost fuelling is all setup but your i/c anint correct to run that much boost thus higher ACT's????? Can it destroy the engine or just limit the performance???

reisskahn standard injectors will only normally be good for 12-14 psi, the next step is beige injectors, but this is a crude conversion,,,, unless the car is live mapped, the best thing is to put aftermarket managment on it, not cheap, but if your keeping the car for a while its worth doing. the fuel pump will also need upgrading.
if you have high act's this will reduce power a bit, but if they get to hot it can lead to engine damage!

Not sure what power I'm pushing out and don't really care, its reliable and bloody quick, should be around 200bhp though

i just meant that i spent out on a new one, only then to find out i would benefit more from an bigger one.
Ive always thought 180ish is the maximum you should take a pace up to?
And yes high ACT's, anything above 40 degrees i think is trouble

200+ is easy eh mark
running 204 on beiges, cossie pump, 285t2, hybrid t2 running 14psi, hopefully up to 16 soon ish, filter and exhaust!
i thought 18 was the max for a std bottom end and rods, but only want to run 16 on mine max, before doing rods to increase fueling.
