Hello everybody
I have just registered with the site, to find out more about my car. I am only 16 at the moment i am 17 in march.

now i have a Fiesta 1.1 its on a M plate. Has anybody got any got hints and tips about a suspension set up for this car (any sort) or performance mod's for the engine (the most power gain).

I have been driving for along time before now, obviously not on the road, i also know alot about cars and how they work i.e Pistons, Crank, Cams all that stuff.

Could anybody give me advise about parts for the car, and if so other forums/websites.

Don;t do anything in the first year. Just drive it. As soon as you start dicking about wit it the insurance company will hike your already extortionate premium. Just get a years NCV under your belt and look at a better car then.

 

agree as above get some no claims then worry about powere etc this iwll also save you on points etc

 

And Fiesta shaped holes in the local hedges

I know someone near me did that and got done with insurance fraud with addvice like that you won't be drive long

I sincerely hope you are joking That has to be without doubt the stupidest and most irresponsible suggestion I have heard

I know a lad at the pub who failed to declare a set of lowering springs and a alloy wheels. He had a prang. The insurance company declared his policy void as he hadn't disclosed the modifications. Lads parents ended up getting a substantial loan to make the repairs to the Mercedes he hit. He now can't insure anything at a reasonable cost.

Only a moron would consider that idea

 

Dont know but it was a gold nice looking fiesta mark 3 they put a frst engine in got found out then had to go to court and then stuck the 1.1 engine back in and then it was for sale in my local paper that's all i know don't know what the court's said but i think it was very bad

 

I think i will wait till i have got atleast a years no claims, then i might put some bits on it or get a different car. Cheers guys and gals (if there is any) I will take the advice given.
