Does anyone else's FRST do this?!

When the engine is running coolant level is MAX or just over, but after you switch off it ALL drains out of the header tank.
Turn it on again and it back fills from the bottom again!

Should I be filling it after its drained back in, but then when engine is running its going to be well over MAX?

Mine when it's low and cold then warmed up it appear's and go's to max level

 

strange one, think im gonna fill mine to MIN once its cold and all drained away - not sure if thats right or not but hey ho

 

i had this problem. turned out to be a hole in head gasket

if it was loosing it fair enough could be, but it keeps coming back...from where i dont know tho

 

i had same problem. no water then when i fill it up and start it up again it overflows. maybe your water pump on the way out!
