The XR2i and the Fiesta RS Turbo do indeed share the same brakes. This is a little worrying as they aren't all that much cop on a 2i with 105bhp never mind a FRST with 130.

Escort and Fiesta RST brakes are not the same.

The Fiesta RST shares it's brakes with XR2i.

The S1 Escort RST shares it's brakes with the XR3i (which is a little worrying).

The S2 Escort RST shares it's brakes with no other Escort. The brake system was lifted from the Sierra XR4i for it.

Infact to be totaly correct, the FRST had different pad material from the Xr's. Thats according to the Ford's "Technician Product Training" booklet but yeah, same disks .... etc

I have some ERST brakes that were made to fit the xr2s, using the ERST discs so you'll need 15s

£70 including the hubs, discs, calipers and carriers

See here lads
