Default WHAT SIZE WHEELS?????

Just bought my first fiesta and want to change the wheels. Ive got 17" which are ET 35 and have 205/40 tyres and also 16" mondeo 5 spokes with 205/45 tyres. I will want to lower it in the near future and would like to know which wheels will fit on with the least hassel as i dont really want to have the arches rolled. Also what drop would you recommened.

Cheers steve

16's without any hesitation the tyres are a bit too big though and will prob cause some probs. Most people runs with a 195/45/16 tyre although a better size is a 195/40/16 but these are rarer and more costly.

A 30mm drop on these rims will be ample and should be very pleasing on the eye.

My bro's FRST on 16" Mondeo rims at FITP.

Got a set of 17" Khan RSRs that i was goin to fit but looks like ill stick with the 16s.

I think 15" is the biggest you can fit without arch mods but im not 100%

Oranoco. Cheers for the info mate

Some 16's go on without any mods at all but it seems to vary from car to car

With regards to the XR2 I'm not overly sure but would imagine 16's wouldn't be a simple bolt on affair.

i had rubbing with 14's (lowered) years ago on my xr2, so i'm almost certain you'll need arch work doing.
