Default standard air box and hose from air box to turbo

does any one still have the standard airbox and inlet hose, for a frst

i have my std air box somehwere with 2 extra 1 inch holes at the front of it, yours for 20 squid!

gav , did you notice any difference in performance when changing from standard airbox to cone filter? i would ideally like to use the standard airbox with a panel filter but obviously don't wanna compromise on performance too much , and lose the chatter ( well a bit of it anyway ) . i personally think the standard airbox looks tidier but not too sure if the airflow is any good any advice appreciated

have a friend with a S2 who bought a cone then took it off 2 weeks after because he felt power loss.
i only went for a cone when i had the T3 fitted so cant say myself.
cone filter sucks in all the heat from the engine unless you build a heat shield around it. for a T2 id always us the std airbox with an uprated panel filter and drill a couple of holes at the front of it to aid air flow. it looks tidier too

actually i was able to get hold of a complete silicone boost hose set which has sorted me out, but cheers for your help any way mate, much appreciated!!
