me and friend got this idea.. we want to rebuild a fiesta, strip it for a ALL unessesary weight.. then fit 2.2 Zvh wit weber carburators... we want it to stay old skool... so we are stickin wit the carbs, and loads of cubic But can a Zvh fit in this car, or is it a biig operation??
and what about strenghed the body.. can it handle all the ekstra power... we are going for 200bhp + and as low a weigth as possible...

we also want to build some W I D E archers on it... any ideas??

are there anything we gotta pay speciel attention to

who makes these 2.2?? field motorsport??

and at last... whats the weight of a fiesta mk.1 ??

anyone done a similar project or got some picture of a similar projekt...?

well 2.1 zvh turbo engines fit in without too many problems!

if you have the time & patience then im sure most things will fit!

ZVH will fit in easy enough (as far as dimensions are concerned)
Mk1 kerb weight? 980key?? something like that?
Fully Stripped out you can attain in and around 700 though.

we been talkin about it.. and we have deciede to buy a xr2... but what about driveshafts.... witch one can we use???

go for it mate , im gonna ( time allowing ) do a 2.2 16valve on twin 48's for next year , stripped out Mk 3 escort with the engine in the boot .

if u use a cch gear box then just the normal , original shafts will be spot on ,

what fiesta is it? try a company called psg there site is www.psgbodystyling.co.uk they only do it for the mk3. i have it on my car its sweet as but u have to get the arches seeled rite from the inside b4 u go fitin big wheels as i burst my rear arches with a huge stone. u wont get a 2.2 if ur turboing it. i have 2.15 n thats as biog as u can safly go n am running 426hp on a t4
