I would be relly greatfull if somebody could help with this, just brought a fiesta zetec 1400 on a 04 plate 1 local owner and immaculate only 34k only prob is when its warmed up say after half hr ish getting a wirring noise from around aux drive belt thought at first it was the belt sprayed with and air con belt only small amount but didnt go sounds like a dry bearing query water pump or tensioner or could it be the belt car was valeted prior to me getting it so guess that was a pressure clean under bonnet as well but was fine even on long run for first few days any help greatly appreciated thanks steve

get a long screwdriver prefrubly a thin one and put it on suspisous components including alternator, pas pump, aircon compressor and cam belt cover and put your ear to to handle and you will blatently hear the noise when on the right component

cheers mate will it be the same sound as i hear standing next to the car only happens when warm and noise goes up a little when revved

if i take the belt off and spin components will i hear rough noise also are tensioners if fitted prone to fail thanks
