Default Blue smoke on idle? Unused standard rs turbo

Hi guys, im going to look at an rs turbo again tomoro ,which has been sat for over 5 years! the guy serviced it around 2 years ago and had it running then, and when he started it a year ago (wen i went to look at it) it was running for 50-10 minutes, and smoking for all that time blue... What could this be, Worn valve stem oil seals?

Probably that and the turbo.

We thought that that is what was wrong with ours.... had the valve stem seals done...... and then on the way home from the garage, the turbo blew.

Refurb on a turbo and the valve stem seals.... about £500.
