I am looking to purchase a standard 1991 Fiesta RS Turbo. I want to check vin plate on this car. I don't know the code on the vin plate to check if it is a proper rs turbo car. What is this code?

This car is mot in November last year and has 76000 miles approx., has full service history from new & manuals, red in colour and is standard. What price should i pay for this car approx.?

 

The way to check if its genuine:

All RS Fiesta's have a 17 digit VIN.

The first 10 characters should either be : VS6 BXX WP FB or SFA BXX BA FB the next 2 characters indicate the build date.
The last 5 digits are the vehicle serial number.

The engine number for the original engine is the same as the last 7 characters of the 17 digit VIN.
