just thought i would post some pics of my fiesta from saturday night after some scum bags decided to take it for a joy ride.

Ended up against a concrete bollard. Then to add insult to injury i was charged 108 pound to recover the car after the police asked for it to be recovered by there recovery contractors.

Have decided i will be rebuilding the car if the chassis leg is not damaged. Will post more pics when i eventually get the car back from the salvage yard and start removing the panels.

anyhow, at least you got it back and not just a burnt out shell.

what engine you running in it mate?
would prob be better to reshell it if its got a good lump in it rather than fix it, even if the chassie leg has been damaged, its still fixable but prob best off done on a jig, and that aint gunna be cheap

 

Only got a 1.1 in it at the min mate but was gona be putting a 2.0 zetec in it over the winter.

My bros a panel beater so most all the work will be done by him. Main reason i wanna keep the car is because the shells mint. No signs of rust anywhere. Hopefully will be able to just replace the panels and bottom arm.

Oh and if anyone has any bits they wanna sell such as bumper etc could you please let me know.

 

if you can get it done via ya bro then go for it mate.
might be worth weighing in cost of buying another 1.1 with mint shell before going a head with it though, maybe one with a naff engine if ya gunna change it.

You may aswell just source a new shell m8, will prob save a lot of haslle. But if your gonna keep the shell, ive seen a fair view brand new front wings on fleebay and quite cheap too.

Here ta go m8. link to an ebay shop, got brand new sills for both sides, Ł9 each and brand new front wings, both sides Ł15 each. (now thats a bargain and will save alot of panel beating...

They also got brand new boonet on there, i forgot to get a link for that. was about Ł70 i think.

Got the car on a ramp and have now found out that the car is not worth repairing. The floor is all cracked and the a post has moved back about 3 inch.

Hopefully i will be going to collect another car on saturday to put the bits on.

Will get some pics up soon as i get it. Am also on the look out for a new bumper if anyone has one.
