Because I wouldnt of had the satisfaction buying something straight out the show room!!
Mate think ive spent just over 10k in the last 6 months, and it still dont fuckin work Some wiring isnt right somewhere
Can get quite crap when your working on it by yourself but
I just keep thinking it will be worth it in the end, I know its quite frightening the amount you spend but its your hobby or what ever at the end of he day!
Keep at it mate, looks like a nice fezzy!!

For me its the search for perfection, how i personally see the best FRST to be like given a certain amount of money etc. As far as i see it, if i didn't spend money on cars what else would i buy?

mate, ive seen the pics of your car and its lovely. when i get into a similar mood i crack out a stella, and start to polish tubby, when you see the gleaming bodywork and the sexy lines of the FRST shining back at you it makes it all worth while.

what else you gunna spend ya money on?
ive had my rs since 1998 and am currently doing her up as age was catching up, i hate to think how much ive spent on her in all the years ive had it, but its a hobby, i enjoy the car, i enjoy working on cars and i fucking love driving it
i know what ya mean about it getting to much, i havent touched mine in over 2 weeks and it needs about 2 hours of work if that to get it fired up and back on 4 wheels, just sometimes you need to walk away and go back to it with a fresh mind and fresh attitude a little while later.
if it were someone elses car it would be different i could and have got on with it, but when its your own you take that little bit longer and just do things different, what might suit someone else norm wont you so you do it a little different to get it 100% right.
i spend hours re-wrapping my loom and running it how i wanted to, although it looks no different to others really
keep in there mate, dont let it get ya down, walk away and leave it for a bit then go back to it, and if things aint going right from start, walk away, dont get pissed off, it makes things worse, trust me
