Default clutch slave cylinder replacement - tips?

anyone replaced a clutch slave cylinder on a mk4 fiesta 1.25 and can share any tips?

mine went on friday 13th

got waynes manual and everything that tells you how to remove gearbox etc, but there's often a better way, or a little trick that you can use or something

I dont no of any other way than to remove the gearbox. dont no what RS Turbos and RS1800 has to do with it as they have cables.

dave green thanks dave. i know that i have to remove the gearbox. that is for certain, as it's a concentric jobber that pushes the release bearing so has to come off the gearbox input shaft.

just wondered if there's some tricks or helpful hints in removing the 'box that aren't mentioned in the waynes manual
