Idel speed control valve
Can I use one of these from any other ford as i am finding it hard to find an original one?

£104 pound from ford - oooouch!!!! but i have ordered one for the car. at least it will solve the idling issues

its a solinoid, it works or it dont, but the prob is norm that they clog up with oil sludge, blast it out with carb cleaner and it works fine again, why buy a new one????

I tried that with mine but it didn't work coz of the type of ISCV it was

you had the remote one near the air box i take it? if so they dont clean very well

This part should be cleaned in petrol for 5 minutes and with strong aircompresor after...and with something that doesn't leave dust(magic clout)...
Rubber should be refreshed...
But that's just the part of the procedure

i have a later spec inlet for sale mate, it dont have the iscv but the top and bottom part of it is there

I need the ISCV as well mate. Did get offered the whole lot including ECU for £20 but can't remember who it was
