help..wont pull, revs up ok on tickover but wont pull.
my problem is,,, the car starts and tick over perfectly, it revs perfectly..
but when i try to set off in the car it wont pull away,, keeps trying to stall,,, its as tho any preasure on the engine it tries to die... so i dont know what my problem is,, maybe the map sensor???
ALSO I AM RUNNING OFAB MANAGEMENT.

2 of my friends have approached me with this problem and it turned out to be a timing problem. if you can get ya hands on a flash gun, check it. disconnect the vacuum hose and put the flash gun across plug1 an flash it down to the bottom pulley. check it at idle and at 2000rpm. any workshop manual should tell you how to do it and what the degrees should be. hope it helps!
