Default MK3 Fiesta Turbo, 2.0 Zetec Turbo, 4x4 and power Steering

Hi guys

i posted about a month ago about transplanting a Focus RS into my MK6 Fiesta. As it turns out my girlfriend has decided to kill me if i touch anything on the mk6. (after all the things i do for her ahem)

Anyway a new idea sprung up and wanted to know if possible.

I'm thinking about getting a MK3 Turbo and modify it to the following spec.

Fibresports Cosworth front and back bumpers
Flushed Tailgate
Blended kit to body
BMW Techno Violet Paint Job

2.0 Zetec Turbo with GT35 Turbo (350-400HP)
Autronic
4X4
Power Steering.

I know getting the 4x4 isn't a problem but the Power Steering issue.

IS IT POSSIBLE? A friend of mine said it'd be a good Idea to get a MK3 Si and nick the Power Steering from there aswell as take Airbag.

The airbag situation isn't definate but would be cool. But the power steering problem is. Any feedback will be great.

Cheers Guys

Crikey, you've got big plans!

I've just converted my K-plate MK3 to PAS from an N-reg MK3.5 1.6 Fiesta Si.

You need:

Fiesta Si Power Steering Rack
Fiesta Si steering column (significantly different to the manual one)
Fiesta Si track-rod ends and ball joints
High pressure pipe
Low pressure pipe and cooler
Pump (from Si/RS1800/XR2i zetec, Escort etc)
(As I'm fitting a Duratec HE engine I used a Fiesta MK6 ST pump and hybrid MK3 Mondy/MK3.5 Fez high pressure pipe.)

See my thread in member's gallery on fiestaturbo.com - there's pics of the parts and how to fit them.

power steering is easy as pie, 4x4, well its been done in different ways but its far from easy and if you planned on paying someone to do it for you then i hope you have very deep pockets!

as for 350-400 bhp, mate, im sorry to bust your bubble but look towards the 250bhp mark, other wise you going to be spending so much your be better off putting that money into a Ł20k escort cossie and still have change!
