as above i maybe getting another one but would just like to know what ppl think dump valve or not i have been told not having a dv is bad but then again i have been told it is good i prefer the chatter or flutter depends where in the country u live to how u say it shall i just go half way and get a dump valve and a controller

nothing wrong with having a dump valve fitted, just does the job of releasing the vented pressure through a different place, rather than through the wastegate.

I personally love the sound of the flutter, lots louder on a chipped mota, but when i get bored i just refit the dump valve again.

Not quite right. The dump valve releases the back pressure of AIR not exhaust gases as the wastegate does.

 

The Fiesta is just as happy having a dumper on it as it is to not have one. You will do it no harm not having one unless you listen to the McDonalds Racers who still think they give you more power
