Hi mate,

Have you got msn?

Just wondering where did you get it rr'd?

Whats the complete spec of your car with those results?

Did Bogg Bros supply the carbs themself?

Cheers, James

With Astra GSI injectors he will not longer use the K-Jetronic. And with a full mappable ECU he will probably run injection AND ignition from the new ECU

its sorn at the min mate so not alot happening, the wheels are ready to fit with a new set of yoko's on them which hopefully wont foul the arches, im hoping mike from the rs forum is going to agree to do the remap and head work for me (cash waiting mate lol), if i can get the head and cam to the right spec im still going to go with the nitrous idea, aiming for 200 bhp with the coils still on, got to be worth a go
cheers

one of my favourite mk3's, love this car. top thread mate, get it taxed and keep the updates coming along.

love carb noise

and also to go on from the 2.0 on carbs and you get 170 brake, incorrect, my mate has a 2.0 zetec, on webber alpha ECU, 45 webber alpha throttle bodies, 4 x 803's, Stage 1 head, Mild cams, 4-2-1, slightly bored out too, around 2045cc.

and it made 172 horse

that was a year ago it just took 6 months to get sorted cos i had to report the garage to trading standards, the guy thats motd it now has ripped all the work i had done last year to bits, hes saying that the pressure is too low to the rear discs, to be honest mate ive just about had enough, im that close to just fucking it all off at the moment, i wish i had the time and the knowledge to do the work myself cos im fucking sick of being treated like a mug punter, im off to get pissed now haha

Didnt think it was that long ago, time sure does fly when you having fun

Dont give up on it mate, you may need to fit a bias valve on the rear lines, friend told me at the weekend you can fit the bias valve/pressure reducing valve (not sure what it is really you'll have to find out ) from a peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 model, thinks it something to do with having standard fronts with a rear disc conversion which messes it up
