Hi fellas im looking at putting a yb in my mk2, need some help and advice from people that have experience in doing this, iv just about finished the fab work/ gearbox tunnel on the shell and before i get it painted i want to get the engine mocked up in the bay, i need a cross member so gonna get the world cup type with mounts to suit, do i need 1 with lowered rack mounts or standard?
If anyone has any hints and tips for the project or things to watch out for would be much appreciated, and best companies to use for the parts ill need.
Also whats the best way to get it wired up, ie is a 30 yr old cossie engine loom the best route to go down?
Also looking at buying a freshly rebuilt 2wd engine from RS Cosworth breakers will a 2wd ex manifold fit or is a 4wd better for space?
The car is a SA import so has the larger long range tank in the boot, can i fit a 044 fuel pump and be done?
Thanks in advance
