Hi all - I have an EFi 1990 Xr3i with 27000 miles from new. The car is like the day it left the showroom! Trouble is I do about 50 miles a year in it! I am only the 2nd owner.
Anyway - went to get it out for its annaul MOT last week and low and behold it wouldn't start - even with a battery pack. It tried to turnover very slowly but then decided it wouldn't turn over at all. A couple of years ago, I had a problem with the battery cable that goes to the starter. I think it is my starter motor that is playing up through lack of use as I have a new battery and still nothing.
Question is - does anyone know where I can get one? And also a new battery lead that goes to the Starter? I cannot for the life of me find one - they all seem to be MFi not EFi.
