rs16i metering head

Default rs16i metering head

hi,could anybody please tell me why the 16i metering head is different to the one that is is fitted to the xr3i as i thought both cars ran the same k-jetronic system.also are they interchangeable,cheers

According to my Ford Manual they use the same metering unit

Yeah, all the breakers and tuners I have asked say the same thing - the RS16i and the XR3i (mk3 and mk4) all use the same metering head.

Apparently theo, the S1 and the S2 (RST) metering unit's are different tho?

yeah, the s2 is definately different, has a pressure sensor built into it. but as far as i know, the xr has the same as 16i.
