my rs2000 1995 is losing water in header tank i keep filling up but there are no visable leaks

 

any damp floor inside the car? heater matrix?
does the car overheat at all?

 

head gasket is weeping into cylinder m8,thats where its going out your exhaust.

Have you checked the heater matrix, I.E damp footwells as well, to check for HG check the oil filler cap for "Mayonaise" and also inside the header tank for any signs of an oily film, this is where the two are mixing together meaning HG failure.

is the tank pressurising at all once the engine is up to temp? is so then gasket it is. 99% of the time, if the matrix is leaking there will be a greasy film on the windscren where the anitfreeze residue has attachaed itself to the glass.
