Default Cheap suspension?

Hi

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best cheapish shocks and springs kit is?

Im pretty sure im right in saying that the suspension is the same fitment on the mk3 and 4 fords including the S1 & 2 so I would think there would be quite a number to choose from avaible.

Links to good shops that mail order them would also be great.

oh come on!

My bad really I should of put a clearer price range, under £200 if poss? defo no more than £300 if it can be avoided.

I heard somewhere G-max kits go for around £160... that sound right? G-max any good?

Thanks

If this is any help I bought some G-max shocks for my 16i last year and got some Chassis Dynamics springs which lower it by about 20 mm. I couldn't afford Koni's and as the car had some very dodgy Monroes fitted and some very tired springs I gave it a go. It looks much better and I have to say the ride quality and handling is excellent. The shocks were £150 from Jondel Northampton and I got the springs from a mate who changed his mind on the project he was doing at the time. If money allowed, Koni's it would be but I am very happy with the results of this set up.

Hope it helps!
