Engine swaps?
put a similar post up on the main board but anything to do with RSi's gets ignored 
What engine swap options do i have? want to stay n/a to keep it origonal (ish) but would like to go quite mad on power, big rev's and maybe a whiff of nos. Was thinking along 2litre zetec lines, which give the best results t/bodies or carb setup?

The zetec is a simple convertion but still i dont think that much power will be got from the engine unless your thinking about turbos. I'm shore a good build with 16i lump would be good for about 150bhp (without NOs) i think more than that and your looking at ECU re-working to move the rev limit

Mate has a 2litre zetec with twin 45's and weber alpha ignition. Will see apprx 170bhp when set up with the correct cams. Theres plenty of power available from zetecs n/a anything up to 200bhp really, just ask some good tuners.
