It does indeed work mate.. Not too much though else I find it goes a little smeary.
But that might just mean I've mixed my detailer up wrong, lol!
I also find if you 'pat' the car with the first towl, to soak up the worst of the water,
Then use the 2nd one to go over it lightly,so you don't put any swirls in it.

http://www.the-absorber.co.uk/ this is the absorber ive tryed micro fibers the meguires waffle weave ect and they are all crap in comparison
Then dont dry the bits of the car which your most likely to have missed when washing, i.e the bottom of the doors etc, i just dry the bits which i know are clean, like the roof/windows/bonnet/doors/boot, after 8months its still clean, only one or two spots of black
How often do you all change your microfibre towels? Do u machine wash them after every use?
And do u all have an old one for then doing round dirty door shuts etc after?

Megs towel. friend of mine is a pro detailer and it is his 1 bit of kit he won't leave the house without. do a big car without wringing. then start the polishing. if you get it dirty its your own fault as you have not washed properly. same as getting stains on your bath towel after a shower really
I must admit to using a blade on the roof and front and rear screen but i drench the roof again with hose a second before i use the blade and touch wood ive never had a problem.
R.e. Microfibre towels, poundland are doing them , for a pound obviously, at moment, they arent small either. Not all stores have them tho, chelmsford didnt yet i was in southend the other day so had a look and they had loads, so i bought 8 lol and they work just aswell as my meguiars one which was about 8 quid.
