My dad uses one of those squegee things and it makes me cringe, could easily ruin the paint work by dragging small bits of grit etc
i have been using on of them for donkeys years and still use it today on my cars
never left a mark on any of them and i dry with a dodo juice super thick drying
towel after that top marks time and time again
