Polishing and Waxing Fresh Paint?
I have had my Cosworth back from paint 1 week and 4 days and now its ready for the road, the only problem is I want to wash and polish it, but i've heard loads of different things so thought i'd come here to see what the pro's say
So
1) is it safe to wash and polish it after just 1 week and 4 days ( the car was baked, flatted and polished by the paint shop) and if not how long do i have to wait?
2) if it is safe can i use supaguard? ( the one you get in the pad )
3) i was told not to apply a wax for at least 90 days, is this also true?
4) it's Diamond White ( yellow lol )
I hope someone can shed more light on this because i want her polished and gleaming for Croft
Thanks.

It'll be fine now mate. Mine was polished and glazed by bodyshop so i went over it with the Meg's polishing machine to make sure it was perfect before putting my wax on. Only left it about a week, mainly due to not getting round to it.
Only thing i'd say is dont put any stickers on for at least a week. The solvent evaporating from the paint creates lots of bubbles under a sticker, trim is fine though.
