Showing a Car
Thinking of trying my hand in a bit of concourse next year.
Ive got a good base to start, but was wondering....
Whats the real difference between working class and Full concourse and the difference between standard and modified classes???
Would mine be modified if i only had diff alloys and susp setup but all the rest of the car was stock o.e??
Would it be working class if i had to drive it to shows, and do many people trailor their cars to the sites for judging??
Finally, how would i go about finding out about the concourse log books that people take part in??
Any help hugely appreciated, Regards Edd.

Yes, as far as I'm aware, the ruling is still the same (and I have competed in concours myself with 2 class wins at Ford Fair amongst many others). Anything deviating from manufacturer original factory spec will deem it 'modified'. Bit of a grey area so far as dealer fit accessories go, so you'd need to ask about that with the show organisors I think.

No, working class cars are (I think) logged for mileage to prove they are fairly regularly driven. Most top level concours cars still drive to shows, and again, you'd need to ask for each event regarding trailoring as some allow and some don't. Either way, just driving to an event doesn't equate with being eligible for working class entry.

You'd need to ask the RSOC on this one mate.
