Default cleaning the interior

hi guys what product would u recommend to clean my interior in my ford fiesta. It has a cream coloured interior (the steering wheel was cream now its black with the ground in dirt) and over the last few months it's got a lot of ground in dirt, i have a stiff hand brush and was wondering what products to use.. I was going to use just washing up liquid but didnt know if there were specialist products for that
thanks for any suggestions

go on polished bliss website, they have the posts above . I use 303 aerospace interior cleaner and protector which will make ur dashboard and plastics and door rubbers look like new. As for ur steering wheel i,d use an all purpose cleaner or just warm water n some elbow grease and not to dress it with anything as will be slippery n dangerous.

you tried babywipes? don't laugh, they work wonders, especially on headling. But seems to remove dirt really easy on plastics and with little effort or mess.

no i haven,t lol , each to their own i guess when it comes to cleaning things, but i like using products designed for the job in hand. Do baby wipes give a nice factory finish and protect for a decent amount of time? , i doubt it but as said, its each to their own i suppose. I wouldnt use washing up liquid to clean inside ur car either.

easy there, didn't mean to touch a nerve lol!!

Nobody said a babywipe will be a match for purpose products that are designed for maximum effect and give long lasting results.

But then as the original poster was going to go at it with a brush and some washing up liquid, may he wants a quick easy way to remove some of the grime, and in the past I have found baby wipes an effective non agressive way to remove grime from trim with ease.

The op asked for suggestions, and i gave one, he may opt for the specialised product route, he may not, now he has an option.

hi there, if ur gonna purchase the 303 stuff one should be a cleaner thts diluteable and the other is a uv protectent . Be careful when it comes to steering wheel always read the instructions 1st. There are alot of products for interior use i just chose PB as they will only sell stuff from there experience.
if you,ve cleaned ur interior ready for dressing 303 uv one is the one mate .

Yup wetvacs are the best, We av a german Contraption, Althought alot better than VAX, they still work the same way...

as said b4, babywipes work wonders ... U may mock it but they are a natural skin kind cleaner, excellent for the dash ( non glaring) and excellent for the steering wheel. why do u think most truckers use baby wipes other than that of course lmao...

Suggestion for all you wet vac users, Use 'Distilled Malt Vinegar' ( clear vinegar ) & squeezed lemon, excelent for getting staines and smelly odours out then u can always re wash after with a fabric softner to give u that jsut washed smell

Hi there guys n girls i just been readin a few posts here and kinda got the vibe pick up tht my previous post was knocking the babywipe idea. Definately not my style i was just reffering to the OP as they did ask for a specialist product , being in this room i thought i,d reply with my own experience from the proffesional way of things, ive used babywipes too. Just got me wondering and its nothin towards anyone , anywhere, but has anyone used a product such as i mentioned? If you have i find it strange you would resort to other such products such as BWipes. Also as said before i find everyone has their own way of doing things , it doesn,t matter if it works for you. This is not a thread to create tension im none of that , i just thought FIESTA CHRIS H would benifit from my advice as he said thanks to any suggestions which i back too.

I've used baby wipes to clean car interiors before, work well. I think the pros don't like using them coz they're quite aggresive at removing stains, but I've had no probs with them.
