A far better bet for tackling intermediate hardness Ford paint by hand is to use Menzerna 203S, applied using a firm foam applicator pad. Full details on this link...

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...e-faq.html#3.6

and links to the product descriptions here...

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...3s-polish.html

and here (you need the orange pad)...

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acata...ds-polish.html

Compared to the products listed above, 203S cuts better, yet also breaks down more easily, meaning you will obtain a superior finish and a higher level of correction for the same amount of effort.

Definitely second what PB's Rich has said above about the 203S - it's great on Ford paint by hand and let's be honest, if you're tackling deswirling on a full car without a machine, then it's a lot of hard work and you want to see some worthwhile results.

There's nothing more disappointing than spending hours only for the finish to look hardly any different, but with 203S you will see a huge improvement which will justify all the effort

Go for this kit if you do want a DA Polisher, My Cossie is Imperial blue & this kit makes life a lot easier than doing it by hand.

Not cheap but good kit isn't.
