Default cleaning engine bay ?

engine bay in bit of a mess, have slight hole in manifold and the un-filtered diesel particles are getting all in the engine bay!

I have at my disposal

karcher k series
snow foam lance hd
degreaser
the whole AG line

I was thinking of grabbing another bottle and making a mix of degreaser and shampoo and spraying the foam it produces onto the engine and in the bay etc, waiting 10 mins and washing off.... safe ?

I do this sometimes with my alloys and it works a treat!

As above; take a good look at our general guide to engine bay cleaning, as linked above. Given what you have to work with, you should have everything you need, although a soft brush to agitate the degreaser might prove useful, and foaming won't be necessary.
