Freshly applied

After about 25 miles in the rain:

Meguairs Tyre Endurance Gel is alright if you leave it for a half hour to dry and the shine lasts for ages

Only one problem with Meguiars Endurance Gel; it's oil-based and contains petroleum distillates, meaning that regular use will tend to dry out your tyres, leading to browning and cracking. No doubt it looks nice and lasts well, but our choice would always be a water-based product, in order to prevent any long term degradation of the rubber - important on performance cars! For a very similar look and longevity to Endurance, Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel ticks all of the right boxes, while for a more natural satin look, Gloss It's new Signature Tyre Gloss is simply awesome.

So what do you all recommend if it wasn't already mentioned?

Picture 2 weeks after being applied: A few hundred miles and driving thru plenty of sprinkler run off

Water beads right up

New application. Not really any noticeable difference

Looks great and lasts a while and no sling so doesn't end up all over the paintwork and to top it off its as cheap as chips

another vote for megs endurance gel and you do need to leave it for 30 mins to an hour to dry out if you want to avoid 'flick off'

Mint for engine bays, bit pricey to use on tyres

Try Zaino Z16 or Angle Wax Elixir. Both give a nice natural look.
