you know what a couple of years back i wanted a jet washer, i decided to go for a halfords one because of the shear price diffference. The unit is excellent and to this day works a treat. I would think any karcher washer would be of at least the same quality if not higher (id hope). I doubt u can go wrong with this realy.

Although I can't see you needing to spend anymore than £60 to get a tricky one. I think mine was £80 and that was a couple of years back. It's still going strong now

If you do stick with karcher, and you have the brass fitment on your snow lance, they tend not to fit well, and have to be filled down as they get stuck in the guns, and bust them. you will be much better off buying the new and improved plastic karcher fitment adapter, these fit like a glove.
As for a pressure washer the best and cheapest karcher you can get, is a powercraft pressure washer from Aldi, there are a rebranded karcher unit. top spec karcher at alot cheaper price.

Ive got one from argos which has been perfect for a year or so it was £24.99 when i boubht it and for another £5 you can get replacment insurance that covers you for 3 years. Bargain!!!! I have spoken to a karcher service engineer and he said they have a life expectancy of 75 hrs. Crap imoo....

• Produced by Karcher exclusively for Powercraft
• 2.1 kW long-life induction motor
• 450 litre/hour water flow
• 150 bar pressure
• Spray gun with 6m hose
• Spray lance with variable high/low pressure regulatar and dirt-blaster for 30% more cleaning power
• Soft-bristle, water power rotary brush
• Integrated detergent tank (comes with 0.5 litre concentrated detergent) for instant feed
• Garden hose coupling
• Automatic stop/start spray gun trigger feature
• Automatic detergent suction (when rotary spray or spray lance on low pressure setting)
The problem is they only get them in a few times a year, and usually when they do, there gone straight away. yyou might hit lucky and they might still be some in your local store, or they may be able to tell you when there on next.

all these little washers do not last, yes they are cheap but rubbish.my mate is an engineer for karcher and he says the cheap ones have a lifespan of about 40hrs.when someone used to upgrade he used to take the old one as part ex.mine is a small karcher what sits on the floor but is an industrial one.i payed £60 for it and have owned it for 14yrs.it used to get used at least 5-6 times a week cleaning my car and mx bikes.it still gets used twice a week now and in all that time its cost me £10 for a new nozzle and seals on the lance so for me i wouldnt buy anything else.my mate had about 6 cheap ones from aldi b+q an the like, they did not last.
