Working on the S1 the other day and noticed the black hoses were a little dull. Had some white spirit in the garage and thought a quick going over would bring them back to life. It did'nt It seemed to make them worse. Then i thought some tyre dressing stuff would do the trick but to no avail again. I'm not a bufty as you can probably tell! What can i use to get them nice and shiny guys? cheeRS in advance

 

Probably need to get all the dirt out of em, as they tend to get grimy over the years, probably worth using Gunk, then wash em off, and the best stuff ive used on them is AutoGlym vinyl care. They look ace. I gotta be carefull what i use on mine as i still have the writing on them.

 

Got some gunk so will give that a go Mike. Got some Autoglym vinyl care too. Think i took the last remaining bit of shine off with the white spirit

 

Yeah white spirit won't shine em up.
