Default Will this work (VGA>Scart adapter)

If I get one of these, will I be able to plug my PC into my TV's scart input and watch DVD's and stuff using the PC?

Or do you have to have some sort of certain specification on the TV or PC to do this?

No I have, but I was just thining if I rip a few DVD's to the HDD, rather than have to burn them off to DVD all the time I could stream em from the PC to my TV.....

Unless things have changed, I'm pretty sure the max resolution you'll run is 640 x 480 on the tv

Ah. Boo-hiss an all that

I would have thought tho that if I connect that cable scart end to my TV, and the VGA plug into the normal "monitor out" on the PC it would display in 1024x768 as that is what it is set too?

I dunno tho - I take you guys words for it!!!

Won't be the same as off a dvd player, and you'll find that any games you play, will also have to be in 640 x 480 resolution
